About LOLUG

Mission Statement

LOLUG’s goal is to enjoy and promote the LEGO® hobby for the adult fan. We seek to promote the hobby within the community through the organization of and participation in shows open to the public that display our creations in addition to monthly meetings in the Lincoln/Omaha area.

About LOLUG:

LOLUG (Lincoln and Omaha LEGO® User Group) is a group of Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOL) that was founded in 2012 with two members meeting in a booth at Lazlo’s in the Haymarket in Lincoln, Nebraska. Since then the roster has soared to over 50 members! LOLUG has men and women fans of LEGO® from all ages so everyone should feel welcome at our meetings and events.

LOLUG is a 501c7 Non-for-Profit group that operates solely on donations, annual dues, and member participation.

Monthly meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month and alternate between Lincoln and Omaha. Members from Lincoln or Omaha usually carpool to the city that is hosting the meeting, which of course, gives us more time to talk about our favorite brick!

LOLUG’s goal as a group is to enjoy and promote the LEGO® hobby for the adult fan. We accomplish this by organizing and attending monthly club meetings, where members are encouraged to bring creations they have finished or are working on, and to share ideas about their projects past, present and future. In addition LOLUG organizes monthly activities such as set drafts, build competitions and other LEGO® challenges. We welcome people with interest in every aspect of LEGO® building, and our current membership includes builders and collectors of nearly every theme. We seek to promote the hobby in the community through the organization of and participation in shows open to the public that display our creations in the Lincoln/Omaha area.

LOLUG, is open to anyone 17 years and older. If you are under 19, a parent/guardian must accompany you to all LUG events. Unfortunately we get many inquiries about allowing those under 17 into LOLUG and we cannot make exceptions.
