LEGO Pinewood Derby
Pinewood derby? How about a PLASTIC BRICK derby!
Build a pinewood-derby style car using plastic Lego bricks and bring it to race on Sunday, August 13th at 11am!
The track will be a standard BSA (Boy Scouts of America) type track where the cars will straddle the lane marker to stay in-lane. A minimum of 1 plate + 1 tile clearance is needed to ride above this lane marker, so build accordingly!
Maximum weight of the derby cars is set at 7 ounces. The scale used at weigh in will determine the official weight, no exceptions. Races will be separated by ages: 12 and under, 13 and up for each category.
Entrants must have purchased a regular pass separately to enter the Nebraska Brick Days convention. Daily passes are $5.00 and weekend passes are $7.00. Guests must also pre-register using the free ticket for each event to participate.
